How it works
- A session lasts up to 45 minutes. End it when you're done: that deletes your uploaded files and chats. Otherwise it is deleted when its time runs out.
- Idle sessions end by themselves. If nothing happens for a while (no message sent and the assistant not working), the session ends and is deleted. The chat warns you a couple of minutes before, with a Keep session button.
- One session per browser, and at most two from one network at a time, with a daily time limit per network. Docspace runs a few sessions at once and has a daily limit; when a daily limit is reached, new sessions start again after midnight (UK time).
- Copy what you need before the session ends: its answers, and its citation links to the session's copies, go with it. The ↗ official links keep working.
- What is sent where: your questions, and the passages the assistant reads, go to the companies that run the models: the one you choose, and the default model, which writes the chat titles. See Privacy.
